THE ASSESSMENT OF MRE FINDINGS ACCORDING TO CDAI SCORE IN PATIENTS WITH CROHN’S DISEASE

Crohn's disease (CD) is a chronic inflammatory bowel of the gastrointestinal tract. One diagnostic steps to perform magnetic resonance enterography (MRE). The purpose study was compare MRE findings with clinical index activity - CDAI score, in order verify usefullness enterography. included 46 patients who underwent according standard protocol, dynamic contrast-enhanced sequences. All studies were performed prone position, using mannitol as positive oral contrast agent. severity grading consensus recommendations. score assessed prior examination by specialist. 32 had multifocal lesions, 14 presented unilocular lesions and history previous resection. Penetrating diagnosed 15 subjects. results indicate for good correlation between assessment groups moderate severe symptoms. However, there significant discrepancy group mild CDAI. Out 23 clinically symptoms, 1 exhibited characteristics severe, 9 7 intestinal lesions. There accordance prominent indicating that MR might be promising modality terms lesion grading. Nonetheless, exist whom tends show full spectrum severity.
